ROBOBLASTER This piece has tons of different visual elements in it, and I used a simple but effective method to focus your attention on the main figure. I made him bright red, and lit by the blast. I kept all other elements, especially the robots, in quasi-silhouette, with the lines of energy converging around the main figure. This piece was done using acrylic for all the background elements, oil for the main figure and robots, then digital for tonal adjustments and color tweaking. Back
