SHARKSHIP When the San Jose Sharks built their new stadium in San Jose (they had started at the Cow Palace in San Francisco) I was asked to think about the concept of high-tech, and the art director hinted that it might be nice to show off the building. While the stadium was nice, I didn't think it would make a dynamic cover, so I gave the art director one sketch of the building, and one where I transformed their logo into a hot rod/space ship. I guess I convinced them. Back
